Bianca Marais is a South African-born, Toronto-based author whose writing career began with the historical novel Hum If You Don’t Know the Words (2017), followed by If You Want to Make God Laugh and The Witches of Moonshyne Manor. She also wrote the Audible Original The Prynne Viper and the interactive mystery A Most Puzzling Murder. Marais teaches creative writing and cohosts the podcast The Shit No One Tells You About Writing, which supports emerging writers.
