Monica Datta is the author of the novels Thieving Sun (2024) and Nebraska (2026), both published by Astra House. Her fiction and essays have appeared in The Believer, Conjunctions, The New Inquiry, Blackbird, and other literary journals. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Washington University in St. Louis, and her short story collection Methods of Apparition was a finalist for the 2022 Black Lawrence Press Hudson Prize.
