Katharine Graham (1917–2001) was an American journalist, publisher, and author who led The Washington Post during its coverage of the Pentagon Papers and Watergate. Her candid 1997 autobiography, Personal History, chronicled her family, marriage, rise in journalism, and leadership of the newspaper, and won the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for Biography.
