Robert J. Mrazek is an American author, filmmaker, and former five-term congressman. Since leaving Congress, he has written novels and narrative nonfiction, including Civil War and World War II fiction, historical works, mysteries, and biographies. His writing has earned the Michael Shaara Award for Civil War Fiction, the American Library Association’s W. Y. Boyd Award for Military Fiction, and recognition from The Washington Post for American history.
