John Wiswell is a disabled speculative-fiction author whose short fiction has appeared in venues including Uncanny Magazine, Tor.com, Nature, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and Weird Tales. He won the Nebula Award for Short Fiction for “Open House on Haunted Hill” and the Locus Award for Best Novelette for “That Story Isn’t The Story.” His debut novel, Someone You Can Build a Nest In, was published by DAW Books in 2024, followed by Wearing the Lion and The Dragon Has Some Complaints.
