Wearing the Lion

In this reimagining of the Hercules myth by Nebula Award-winning author John Wiswell, the story explores the complex relationship between the hero Heracles and the goddess Hera, who is both a reluctant mentor and a secret adversary. As Heracles dedicates his accomplishments to Hera, he remains unaware that he is a source of her bitterness due to his origins as Zeus's illegitimate child.
