Louise Kennedy is an Irish writer who began her writing career after working as a chef for almost thirty years. Her short fiction appeared in publications including The Stinging Fly, Banshee and The Guardian, and her collection The End of the World Is a Cul de Sac won the John McGahern Prize. Her debut novel, Trespasses, was published in 2022 and received major international critical and literary recognition.
