Ryan David Jahn is an American novelist and screenwriter who grew up in Arizona, California, and Texas before working in film and television in Los Angeles. He published his award-winning debut novel, Acts of Violence, in 2009, followed by crime and suspense novels including Low Life, The Dispatcher, The Last Tomorrow, The Gentle Assassin, The Breakout, and The Strangers. His work is known for intense, often dark explorations of crime, violence, desperation, and moral ambiguity.
