Bruce Porter is a former newspaper reporter and Newsweek writer and editor who later taught at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He wrote for publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Playboy, and Connoisseur. His books Blow and Snatched are reported nonfiction accounts centered on international drug trafficking and organized crime.
