Dave Isay is an American radio documentarian, author, and editor whose nonfiction writing grows out of his audio journalism. He founded Sound Portraits Productions and StoryCorps, and has written or edited books including Our America: Life and Death on the South Side of Chicago, Flophouse, Listening Is an Act of Love, Ties That Bind, and Callings.
