Robert P. Murphy, also known as Bob Murphy, is an Austrian School economist and free-market author. He has written more than 100 articles for general audiences and numerous books on economics, including Contra Krugman, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism, The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Great Depression and the New Deal, Choice, and Lessons for the Young Economist. He also writes scholarly work on monetary theory, capital and interest, business cycles, and public policy, and hosts The Bob Murphy Show.
