Jim Kelly is a British crime novelist and former journalist who worked for the Financial Times for 15 years, including as a tax and education correspondent. His first crime novel, The Water Clock, was published in 2002, launching the Philip Dryden series set in Cambridgeshire. He has since written the Peter Shaw crime series and the Nighthawk historical crime series, and has won the Crime Writers’ Association Dagger in the Library and the New Angle Prize for Literature.
