"Mr. Keen" debuted on NBC on October 12, 1937, as a 15-minute serial before transitioning to CBS in 1942 and evolving into a weekly half-hour show in 1943. The series followed homicide detectives Mr. Keen and his partner Mike Clancy as they navigated various investigations. Bennett Kilpack was the longest-serving actor in the titular role, with Philip Clarke taking over later, while Jim Kelly portrayed Mike Clancy and Richard Leonard directed the show.
