Hanna Garth is a sociocultural and medical anthropologist whose writing focuses on food access, inequality, race, and social justice. She is the author of Food in Cuba: The Pursuit of a Decent Meal and Food Justice Undone: Lessons for Building a Better Movement, and co-editor of Black Food Matters: Centering Black Ways of Knowing in the Wake of Food Justice. Her work draws on ethnographic research in Cuba, the Caribbean, and Black and Latine communities in the United States.
