Ginny Bell is the pen name of Gillian Bell, a former editor who worked for several major publishing houses before becoming a freelance editor and writer. After growing up and attending school in Dover, she was inspired by a visit to Dover Castle to write her Dover Café series, set during World War II. The Dover Café at War was her first novel.
