Louise Fein is a British author of historical fiction. After working as a lawyer and in finance, she earned an MA in Creative Writing from St Mary’s University, London, and began writing full time. Her debut novel, People Like Us (published in the United States as Daughter of the Reich), was followed by The Hidden Child, The London Bookshop Affair, and Book of Forbidden Words; her novels explore turbulent historical periods, social change, forbidden ideas, and unheard voices.
