Claire Fuller is an English novelist and short-fiction writer who began writing fiction at age 40 after a career as a marketing-agency co-director. She earned an MA with distinction in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Winchester and published her debut novel, Our Endless Numbered Days, in 2015; it won the Desmond Elliott Prize. Her novels have since included Swimming Lessons, Bitter Orange, Unsettled Ground, The Memory of Animals, and Hunger and Thirst, with her work translated into more than twenty languages.
