Yudhanjaya Wijeratne is a Sri Lankan science fiction author, programmer, and researcher based in Kandy. His novels include Numbercaste, The Salvage Crew, and the Commonwealth Empire trilogy, exploring artificial intelligence, power, colonialism, and post-colonial futures. His short fiction has appeared in Wired and the Big Book of Cyberpunk, and he is a Nebula Award nominee and Gratiaen Prize winner.
