Paula McLain is a New York Times bestselling American author whose work includes the novels The Paris Wife, Circling the Sun, Love and Ruin, When the Stars Go Dark, and Skylark. She also writes poetry and memoir, including Like Family: Growing Up in Other People’s Houses. She received an MFA in poetry from the University of Michigan and has published writing in The New York Times, The Guardian, and other major outlets.
