Michael Mammay is a science fiction author and retired U.S. Army officer who graduated from the United States Military Academy and holds a master’s degree in military history. Drawing on his military experience, he writes novels centered on soldiers and military conflicts, including the Planetside series, The Misfit Soldier, The Weight of Command, and Generation Ship. His debut novel, Planetside, was published by Harper Voyager in 2018.
