The Misfit Soldier

In this stand-alone sci-fi adventure, a disillusioned soldier known as Sergeant Gastovsky, or "Gas," finds himself in the unlikely role of a leader when a con gone wrong forces him back into military life. Running low-level cons during his service, he dreams of a big score that could secure his future, and when a squadmate is left behind after a chaotic battle, Gas seizes his chance. He recruits a band of misfit soldiers for a daring mission that pits them against both enemy forces and the upper echelons of his own military organization. If successful, he could not only save his comrade but also reshape the galaxy's view of the war.
