Lorilee Riley, a Florida resident and avid cat owner, becomes intrigued when she discovers a corpse in her flowerbed and questions the thoroughness of the police investigation. Enlisting her friend Jess, despite Jess’s reluctance, the two amateur sleuths set out to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death, navigating danger with only Lorilee’s cats for support.
