Cook the Books

Chloe Carter, still dealing with her recent breakup, accepts a position as a cookbook writer's assistant, which brings her into contact with Digger, a chef and a friend of her ex-boyfriend, Josh. When Digger dies in what appears to be a grease fire, Chloe begins investigating to uncover the true circumstances surrounding his death. The story follows her efforts to peel back the layers of mystery and discover who was behind it.
