Death of a Lake

Set against the backdrop of a dwindling Lake Otway, this tale follows the mysterious disappearance of Raymond Gillen, who vanished after winning a substantial lottery prize and going for a late-night swim. Three years later, as drought threatens the lake's existence, a group of men and women gather, awaiting whether the receding waters will reveal Gillen’s body and the fate of his money. Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte is also present, observing the unfolding events amidst the period's authentic depiction of Outback Australian life.
