Louise’s War

Set in 1942, this story follows Louise Pearlie, a young widow working as a clerk for the OSS in Washington, DC. When she uncovers a document related to her friend's husband in Vichy France, she considers helping her friend, a young French Jewish woman. However, the situation swiftly becomes dangerous when a colleague is murdered, leaving Louise to navigate a web of trust and danger on her own.
