In "The Spindle," the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty is reimagined through the perspective of the dark fairy. Set in the Celtic world of the fifth century, faeries struggle against extinction, prompting Violet, the faerie of beauty and dreams, to break sacred laws by granting a barren Queen a child. Meanwhile, her sister Nor, the faerie of death, embarks on a quest to restore Princess Rose to her rightful timeline, contending with a power-hungry King, a devoted gardener named Arthur, and the spirited Princess Rose herself, who is destined to become a remarkable ruler.
