Lyra's Oxford

Set two years after the events of His Dark Materials, Lyra and her daemon Pantalaimon observe the streets of Oxford from atop Jordan College when they are interrupted by a flock of agitated starlings, one of which bears troubling news about a sickness spreading in the north. With the hint that Lyra may be the only one able to help, the story introduces a mysterious figure whose true allegiance remains uncertain.
