Caravan

Caressa Horvath, raised amid a traveling carnival, marries anthropologist Jacob Bowman and travels with him to North Africa. After a violent encounter leaves Jacob dead and only Caressa alive, she must join a perilous caravan crossing the desert. The story follows her harrowing journey through the harsh African landscape in the face of danger and adversity.
