A Broken Land

In the midst of the Spanish Civil War, Cal Jardine is unexpectedly drawn into conflict while helping a friend, tasked with transforming a group of athletes into effective fighters. Partnering with revolutionary Juan Laporta, they navigate the challenges of both urban and rural battles, forging a strong bond amid the chaos.
