A Bitter Field

In 1938, as tensions rise in Europe, Cal Jardine is recruited by the head of the SIS to uncover Germany's intentions toward Czechoslovakia. Before he can undertake his mission in Prague, he must navigate dangers in France while dealing with fascist obstacles. Once in Czechoslovakia, Jardine faces perilous challenges, as he grapples with internal rivalries within the Secret Service and the complexities of friendship and betrayal.
