Marion Jones uses monster-making as a therapeutic outlet to manage her anxiety, creating a detailed sea creature mask named Winston. When a rare Halloween event causes Winston to come to life, Marion must confront the unintended consequences, including her crush being turned into a monster. As the chaos unfolds at the school Halloween dance, Marion faces the challenge of rescuing her friends and stopping her creation from causing further destruction.
