Coffins

Set in rural Maine during the pre-Civil War era, this novel follows Davis Bentwood, a medical student, who befriends Jeb Coffin, an abolitionist and transcendentalist. When Bentwood visits the Coffin family, they face a growing supernatural menace threatening their home and community, revealing dark and terrifying forces at play.
