A Bitter Rain

In 1939 East Prussia, Erik Mueller, a devoted history professor and decorated Gestapo sergeant, grapples with a moral dilemma as he encounters his old friend Trude Bensheim, a Jewish woman forced into hiding. When Trude and her husband establish a secret organization to aid fellow Jews escaping Germany, their plight draws Erik into a perilous crisis of conscience. As betrayal threatens their lives, Erik is faced with a harrowing choice: to protect his friends or safeguard his own future amidst the chaos of the Third Reich.
