Set in an alternate 1920s London where magic is outlawed, this lighthearted romantic romp follows Vesper Holloway, who runs an illegal speakeasy serving enchanted cocktails, and Maxwell Ashbridge, an enforcer of the magic ban with a personal grudge. When mysterious accidents threaten her family’s business, Vesper teams up with Max, who promises her protection in exchange for help investigating the incidents.
