Boys of the Beast

"The Route" follows three cousins—Matt, Ethan, and Oscar—on a 1,700-mile journey from Portland to Albuquerque in Grandma Lupe’s vintage car. As they travel together, their distinct personalities and secrets weave a story of friendship, identity, and possibilities beyond the road. With humor and heartfelt moments, this engaging YA debut by Monica Zepeda offers a fresh perspective on growth and connection.
