Pygmy

This novel by Chuck Palahniuk, his first since Fight Club, offers a sharp and dark satirical look at American life through the perspective of Pygmy, a young operative from a totalitarian state infiltrating the U.S. as part of a covert mission. Blending elements of comedy and romance, the story explores themes of xenophobia and indoctrination as Pygmy and his peers plan a major act of terrorism, providing a provocative commentary on American society.
