Purrfectly Deadly

In "Purrfectly Deadly," the second installment of The Mysteries of Max series, the feline sleuth Max and his cat companions dive into the murder of pop star John Paul George, found dead in his pool. As Odelia Poole, a local reporter, investigates the case, she encounters new police officer Chase Kingsley, who is battling his own scandal. With a cast of quirky suspects, including disgruntled ex-wives and shady dealers, Max races against his rival Brutus to uncover the truth and perhaps snag a taste of the elusive cat pâté.
