The Lonely Hunter

In 1969 San Francisco, former cop Frank Hastings is on a desperate quest to find his estranged daughter, Claudia, who disappears after chasing dreams in the counterculture of Haight-Ashbury. Once a broken man lost to alcoholism, Hastings has found sobriety and toughened up as an officer, but the city's rampant crime and drug issues pose a grave threat to Claudia. As he follows a trail of violence linked to the hippie scene, Hastings is drawn deeper into a dangerous underworld that could lead him to the daughter he abandoned.
