Rocket Girl

In 1938, Wernher von Braun, a young German rocket enthusiast, dreams of reaching the moon, while Mary Sherman, a high school girl in Ray, North Dakota, aspires to be a chemist. Their paths intersect a decade later amid World War II and the Cold War space race, as Mary is tasked to solve critical issues facing the U.S. rocket program at North American Aviation. Both individuals play pivotal roles in America's eventual success in space exploration, though Mary's contributions remained largely overlooked—until now.
