Dewey "Mac" Mackenzie is a skilled chuckwagon cook with a knack for both delicious meals and quick-draw six-shooters. Recently cleared of wrongful accusations, he embarks on a journey back to Texas, joining a group of cowboys desperate for a new cook after their last one is jailed. However, trouble brews as a fellow cattleman, wronged and emboldened by an outlaw connection, seeks revenge with a gang of gunfighters, challenging Mac to defend not only his culinary skills but also his life.
