The Servant’s Tale

During the Christmas season, the medieval nunnery of St. Frideswide's is disrupted by a troupe of players who arrive with the mangled body of a villager, claiming he was found in a ditch. Meg, the victim's wife, suspects that darker motives are behind his death, as she faces the threat of losing her land due to cruel feudal laws. Amidst the players' rehearsals for the nativity, Dame Frevisse must confront past grievances and navigate the complexities of faith and desperation to seek a path to salvation before chaos ensues.
