The Ice Orphan

In the third installment of this cli-fi series, a frozen future sees archaic species grappling with survival in a post-apocalyptic Ice Age, 925 summers after the Jemen unleashed bioluminescent algae that triggered the climate catastrophe. With most of the Jemen having fled to the stars, the last remaining members grapple with dwindling populations, relying on a dying quantum computer named Quancee and a Denisovan man named Lynx. When Vice Admiral Jorgenson plans to dismantle Quancee, Lynx must intervene to protect her, while a young boy from the Sealion People embarks on a quest to connect with a spirit helper amidst the chaos. As time runs out, Quancee seeks to save a special boy in need before it's too late.
