After leaving the Marine Corps, Jesse McDermitt seeks a new life away from the cold, heading to the sunny Florida Keys with plans to start a charter business. With his skills as a diver and angler, he settles into a routine until a waitress's comment ignites a long-buried dream, leading him to purchase a boat. However, his newfound tranquility is threatened by a Carolina girl and an impending hurricane, as well as lurking dangers in the area. Jesse’s past experiences prepare him to confront these challenges with unexpected resolve.
