Spring of Hope

In March 1859, as London grapples with the aftermath of the “Great Stink” and a cholera outbreak, writers Wilkie Collins and Charles Dickens find themselves entangled in a mystery when a violent death disrupts an exhibition of top engineers aimed at solving the city's sewage crisis. While Dickens aids his friend Joseph Bazalgette in tackling pollution, Collins becomes intrigued by his new housekeeper and her secretive past.
