I'm the King of the Castle

In this tense and unsettling story, Charles Kingshaw and his mother move into a Victorian mansion with Edmund Hooper and his father, revealing a dark atmosphere of isolation and subtle hostility. As Kingshaw navigates the house's ordinary objects turned into threats, a brief role reversal in the woods highlights the underlying animosity between the boys. Despite moments of seeming solace, Kingshaw remains aware that his conflict with Hooper is far from over.
