The Shadows in the Street

Simon Serrailler, a detective with the Special Incident Flying Taskforce, finds himself drawn back to Lafferton from his Scottish sabbatical to investigate a series of disturbing disappearances and murders of local women. As tensions rise within the community, with fear mounting after the kidnapping of a respected figure, Serrailler faces numerous dead ends in his pursuit of the truth. It is only through unforeseen circumstances and a dangerous encounter that he begins to uncover the motives behind the sinister events plaguing the town.
