The Woman in the Veil

In June 1890 London, crime-scene photographers Sarah Bain, Lord Hugh Staunton, and Mick O'Reilly face intense pressure to uncover a new story after a sensational murder. During a grim investigation by the River Thames, they discover a woman, dubbed Sleeping Beauty, who is alive but suffers from amnesia. As various claimants emerge, each with their own agenda, the mystery deepens when one claimant is murdered, putting Sarah and her friends in a perilous race to identify the killer before they become the next victims.
