Daughter of a Thousand Years

In "Freydís and Emma," two women from different eras confront the challenges of their respective worlds. Freydís, daughter of Erik the Red in AD 1000 Greenland, battles societal norms and familial expectations as she strives for independence and loyalty to her beliefs. Meanwhile, in 2016 New Hampshire, history professor Emma Moretti grapples with the clash between her passion for Norse mythology and the conservative values of her community. Both narratives intertwine as Freydís and Emma refuse to be silenced, fighting for their identities against the pressures surrounding them.
