A Curious Incident

In this engaging mystery, Gemma Doyle, owner of the Sherlock Holmes Bookshop and Emporium, reluctantly takes on the case of 10-year-old Lauren Tierney, who seeks help in finding her missing cat, Snowball. After a successful reunion, Lauren returns with a much graver matter: her mother has been accused of murdering a rival at the local garden club. With the police focused on Lauren's mother as the prime suspect, Gemma, alongside her dog Violet and friend Jayne Wilson, must unravel the clues and confront the dark twists of the case, all while navigating the skepticism of her police-detective boyfriend.
