Stubborn Twig

"Stubborn Twig" tells the true story of Masuo Yasui, an immigrant who arrives in America in 1903 with dreams of success. After working various jobs, he settles in Oregon, establishes a thriving store, and raises a family, breaking barriers in the local community. However, their lives are forever altered on December 7, 1941, when they are uprooted and sent to internment camps, yet they strive to persevere and reclaim their identity as Americans.
